Homeward

Perhaps one of the most sought for things for all of humanity is home. A place to call your own, to be safe, to be happy. The aim of this project is to encapsulate all that home is for me. As a homesick college student, I often find myself wishing to be at home with my parents, in a place that is safe and familiar. These photos show the three aspects of my home. The people, the building, and the surrounding landscape all converge to create one singular feeling of belonging; a feeling I am still searching for in my life out on my own. To create a feeling of home, this project focuses on bringing together my family, my childhood home, and the mountains I grew up in, into one single vision.
